Best of Luck the the Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen Program TONIGHT!

Last year I remember seeing a photo of Cecili Weber in the Miss Ohio parade and thinking, "Wow! Who is THAT?!" When I arrived in Mansfield and met her, she lived up to her beautiful photographs, as well as the sparkling Outstanding Teen crown that had been placed on her head.

Cecili went on to earn a Preliminary Evening Gown Award at Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant and made both the Top 15 and Top 10 cuts.  She has represented Ohio flawlessly!  Every time I see a new photo of her online I continue to be impressed; I think she already looks like Miss America and hopefully someday she will be!

There are nine teen girls hoping to receive Cecili's crown, including last year's 1st and 4th runners-up!  The pageant should be very exciting, as none of the delegates are "at large;" they all earned their titles during preliminary pageants and this evening includes Miss America's Outstanding Teen, Lacey Russ!  CLICK HERE to meet the Teens and stay tuned for results.

Miss Ohio Day 3 Photos

Sunday the Miss Ohio contestants stared in the annual parade in downtown Mansfield!

Photo Links:

All but two ladies adorned their heads with a hat this year; shall we thank the Royal Wedding?!  Floral prints and ruffles seemed to be popular, below are my favorite looks highlighting this trend.  Click to enlarge each:

Miss Heart of Ohio,

Miss Maple City,

Although neither ruffed nor floral, I also really like the vintage-esq style and sassy look below:

Miss Ohio, Becky Minger, honored the military with her attire and Miss Ohio's Outstanding Teen, Cecili Weber,
was adorable as always!

Before the parade the ladies dined at Applebee's, and then Mansfield Elks hosted them afterward.

Miss Ohio 2011 Day 1 & 2 Photos!

The contestants arrived in Mansfield Friday morning and spent the evening at the Miss Ohio Festival!

From the context of other photos, this appeared to be a contest between Miss Lake Festival, Devon Stansbury and Miss Greater Butler, County Jane Covel determining the shortest contestant.  Jane won! Another highlight Friday was the celebration of Miss Central Ohio, Sarah Hider's birthday.

Pass the baby!

Freelance supporter and photographer Timothy Russell and his wife Kara have a beautiful baby girl, Samantha.  With so many cooing titleholders, it proved easier just to pass the baby down the autograph line!  See those photos and others by Timothy from Fridays Festival HERE

Additional Festival photos were taken by Daniel Melograna of the Mansfield News Journal:

The ladies also visited Grahm Chevrolet on Friday, who is the new Miss Ohio vehicle sponsor!  View those photos HERE.

On Saturday morning the ladies had a fashion show at the Richland Mall and signed autographs.

The past couple years the fashion show outfits have caused some confusion, so I went direct to a reliable source to get the inside scoop... Each contestant was assigned a specific store; once at the store they could select their outfit from specific designs set aside for the fashion show.  The contestants in college gear were sponsored by a store called Buckeye Bills and obviously the construction gear [modeled below by Miss Mohican Valley, Jenna Fowls] came from a store of that specialty.
