Tonight at the Brunswick High School, Kristen Haas will crown the fifth Miss Ohio 2009 contestant! Kristen is a dancer attending Bowling Green State University; she is a hard working contestant who made the Top 12 as Miss North Coast on her third Miss Ohio attempt!

There are rumored to be five to nine contestants. Some of the names floating around the internet are Miss Ohio 2008 competitors Shannon O'Neill, Megan Wombacker and Krystle Formosa, as well as familiar local contestants Sasha Eby, Alicia Huyghe, Jessica Nelson and Katie Bowen.
