Campaign to keep Miss Ohio in Mansfield

Unfortunately I just noticed a MNJ article calling for letters to be presented at this Wednesday's board meeting that are in support of keeping the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program in Mansfield. If you are somehow able to get a letter to the address below in time, I strongly encourage you to do so! Many have expressed that Zanesville is a lateral move and I have to agree! It would be one thing to relocate the pageant to a place with added value; it's just sad to move it somewhere with no benefits at all! None that I can see anyway...

I asked and emails are also being accepted for those of us who can't get letters there in time via snail mail! miller@mansfieldtickets.com

MANSFIELD -- Mansfield city leaders, including Mayor Don Culliver, will represent the city at the MissOhio Board of Directors meeting Wednesday in an attempt to keep the scholarship program here.

Zanesville officials are trying to lure the pageant away from Mansfield, possibly before next year's event.

Residents are asked to write letters of support and deliver them to the Renaissance Theatre, 138 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, OH 44902 c/o Michael Miller.
