An Update: Peronal and Pageant

For those of you who don't read my other blog, the reason I've not posted much this week is because life has been incredibly hectic! I was in Ohio for several weeks this winter; I returned to LA in early April, giving myself less than a month to find a second job and new place to live. That may not sound so bad, but trust me when I say everything is ten times more difficult here!

It has been extremely stressful, but at the last minute things fell into place. After a few days of training last week, this was my first full week at my new job. I moved into my new place Thursday, which was literally the last day of my old lease. It has been exhausting to say the least.

For a few days I only had internet on my phone, which is great, but a bit tedious, much more time consuming to use and not conducive to extensive blogging. It was a greater headache than it should have been, but the wireless in my new place is finally working. For now...!

While my laptop was enjoying a much deserved sabbatical, here's what was going in pageant land:

Shana Moakler (former Miss USA/ California USA ED) and Nicole Lamarche (former Miss California America and minister) faced off against Stephen Baldwin and Maggie Gallegher on the topic of gay marraige on Larry King Live, hosted by Joy Behar:

Derby Divas: Miss Kentucky USA and Kentucky Teen USA; if any America titleholders were at the race yesterday, pictures have not yet surfaced:

And finally, last night a new Miss New Hampshire was crowned; I believe that's the first state pageant of the year. Lindsey Graham won the pageant on her fourth try; she sang and played the piano to Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” She was not a prelim winner, but did earn academic and community service awards.
