Granville woman crowned Miss Central Ohio

NEWARK -- Starting when she was 17 years old, Kasey Wilson has participated in scholarship pageants and earned two titles and two trips to the big show -- the Miss Ohio Scholarship Pageant. Now at age 20, Wilson has another chance at the title. She was crowned Miss Central Ohio on Saturday.... "I am really excited (about Miss Central Ohio), because this is the program I wanted," Wilson said. "The people behind this organization are so supportive. I am especially excited about going back to Miss Ohio with them." The woman behind the local program is Kathy Wise. "This is a growing experience for these women, and the opportunities are amazing through Miss Ohio," Wise said. "We look forward to working with Kasey."
