"Countdown to the Crown" Stats - Episode Two

The second episode began with some candid chatting from the following contestants: Georgia, Indiana, North Dakota, Florida, South Dakota, Missouri, Montana, Delaware, Virgin Islands, Iowa, Oklahoma and West Virginia.

The group challenge was a stupid obstacle course; a non-pageant fan friend who was watching with me thought the bubbles they had to swing through on a rope was rather suggestive. Loren like it.

Wildcard Challenge

Next, the women faced off on the runway to determine the three wildcards.
The following contestants were featured:

Nevada
Massachusetts
Arkansas
Montana
Maine
Maryland
Washington
Missouri
Kentucky
Michigan
Georgia
Alabama
South Dakota
Oklahoma

Guest judge and super model Shakara Ledard selected Miss six-foot-tall South Dakota. Shocking. Kim picked Washington and Anthony selected Arkansas.

During the Gold Sash Runway Challenge the following ladies were seen:

Washington
Kentucky
District of Columbia
New York
Utah
Alaska
Arkansas
North Dakota
Indiana
Vermont
Georgia
Mississippi
South Dakota

Overall the judges didn't feel the contestants applied what Shakara had taught them; specifically they discussed Indiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, North Dakota, Georgia and Kentucky. When they called the women back they seemed to sugar coat their opinions.

The Top Three were Mississippi, Georgia and Kentucky.

Georgia received the Gold Sash.

What I find most interesting is who and how much TLC features the women in the interview/confessionals.

Missouri – 5
New Mexico – 1
South Carolina – 3
Iowa – 1
Arkansas – 11
Oklahoma– 5
Kansas – 2
Wyoming– 1
South Dakota-6
Washington– 8
Indiana– 5
West Virginia – 2
New York – 1
California – 1
Mississippi – 2
Massachusetts – 2
Kentucky – 3
North Dakota – 2
Vermont – 2
Oregon – 2
Nevada - 1
Maryland – 1
Alabama – 2
Utah - 1
Vermont – 1
Georgia - 6
Alaska – 1

*Note, my statistics are not likely 100% accurate, as I may have missed someone or confused abbreviations on the "M" states, but I'm sure I'm pretty close!
