ReplyDeleteUnless they gave it at the after party, I don't think it happened this year. It's great that they have both the Hamlish (sp?) award and Betty Estep award, but for YEARS now, they've gone to the same woman (who had also won a talent prelim, obviously).
It's a shame there aren't more sponsors to help spread the wealth. It's clear that dancers have a tougher time in pageants; Renee did a great job acknowledging at least one of them for the past few years. In these tough times, maybe they need to try to get several former dancers to pull together.
I hope to someday have the extra cash to sponsor an award for the highest scored musical theatre (not opera) performance. Someday...!
