Miss America, Kristen Haglund, is spending Independence Day at WSB-TV's Lenox Fireworks Presentation and Show in Atlanta.
According to the Monroe County Beacon, last night the newly crowned Miss Ohio, Karissa Martin, kicked off Woodsville's "freedom celebration" by singing the National Anthem. As a native of Monroe County, the event also served as a celebration of Karissa's crowning and gave locals a chance to meet her.
Her next publicized event is the Mechanicsburg's annual Summer Celebration on July 12th.
Last night Miss Ohio USA, Monica Day, was at Columbus' Red White and Boom.
