She won on her third attempt; she was a Semifinalist last year and Third RU in 2006.




Miss Illinois Katie Lorenz

Age: 24

This was her first try in Illinois, but Third attempt at a state title, having placed in the Top 10 in Michigan last year; she is a former Michigan Outstanding Teen.


* Miss Maryland is not at dancer and is the only blond this weekend who doesn't fit the third-time profile.

This was her Third try, having been Second and Third RU.
