Some fans were calling these "southern" and "northern" sweeps, which became confusing because the titles were swapped when Saturday's location was changed... I don't know exactly what happened or why, but the bottom line is that the titles really don't matter. Like any open pageant, there's a strong likelihood that the winner's residence will not match her title. My opinion is that all six Sweeps titles should be general, but the last three were created when the pageant was supposed to be held in Chillicothe, so, oh well...
What time does it start?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see they were able to find another venue in such a short amount of time. If it were me, though, I would have named one of the titles Miss Hudson and one Miss Summit County with the goal of recruiting a local business or group willing to take over the local titles.
