Turn out. Take action.Be part of this historic event.

World Wildlife Fund is asking individuals, businesses, governments and organizations around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour – to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.
I learned of this global initiative thanks to Miss Maple City, Ashleigh Lemon. She has degrees from Muskingum College in Conservation Science and Biology and her pageant platform is "Conservation for the next generation: the race against time." I joined her Earth Hour Facebook group and plan to close the laptop, DVR the TV shows, turn off the lights and light some candles at 8:30 p.m.!
Awesome, I'm with you. We are not even going to be home, but you bet all lights, electronics, maybe even the vacuum will be turned on
