CMN Celebrations!

This weekend Children’s Miracle Network hospitals are celebrating the donations they have received over the year.

FOX Toledo will be broadcasting the 25th Annual Celebration/Telethon of St. Vincent Mercy Children's Hospital from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow. As the Face of FOX Toledo, I’ll be downtown “on the docks” with the live entertainment and I’ll also have the pleasure of briefly talking to Miss Northwestern Ohio, Becky Minger, about the Miss America partnership. (I believe the interview will happen sometime in the 11 o'clock hour.)

According to their blogs, Miss Clayland, Allie Krucek and Miss Maple City, Roberta Camp, will also be helping with the CMN broadcasts in their respective areas.

Allie writes,

On Sunday June 3rd, I will be taking part in the CMN Celebration Telethon at Akron Children's Hospital. I will be answering phones and will be interviewed on-air about the partnership between Miss America and CMN. I'm very excited about this great opportunity. Please tune in to WBNX TV 55 (the new CW in Akron) or WMFD TV 68 in Mansfield to see me between 1pm and 3pm. Also, please call in to make a donation to CMN. The pledge numbers will be 330-543-0981 and toll free 1-866-543-0981.

And Roberta writes,

All weekend, I am scheduled to be a guest entertainer, pledge taker and volunteer at Columbus Children's Hospital for the Children's Miracle Network Telethon! It will be televised Saturday June 2 & Sunday June 3 here in Columbus by my "alma mater" - WBNS 10TV. If you can catch it locally, please be sure to watch and if possible; make a charitable donation to one of the largest supporters & contributing organizations of nearly 17 million child patients & hospitals throughout our nation.

If you don’t get FOX Toledo, WBNX in Akron, WMFD in Mansfield or WBNS in Columbus, do tune in and find a channel local to you carrying a broadcast. Also, leave a comment if other Miss Ohio contestants are somehow participating.

  1. What are your plans for the fall when your fox thing is over? Will you stay in the ohio area and try to do something entertainment related?
